Technical parameters:
- height: 870 mm
- depth: 388, 488 or 588 mm
- Spacers place them in the prepared positions at the top and bottom of the side panels.
- Always secure each end of the spacers with three screws according to the image below.
Then you can proceed with the installation of door hinges or drawer slides (the choice is entirely yours, but we recommend bearingball fullextension slides, with which the carcass was originally designed). You will clad the resulting unit with the selected material (plywood, planks, etc.) and attach the doors or drawer fronts. The construction is self-supporting, so you can choose a light and thin material for cladding, thus saving further weight from the total.
In case of higher expected load or use of thin cladding material, it is advisable to reinforce the carcass by adding constructal strips. These will also serve as the surface for attaching the lock or pull-latch handle in the case of drawers.
